Mr Malal carried out an operation to treat trigger thumb under local anaesthetic. I am very happy with outcome, with no complaint. I had complete confidence in Mr Malal’s competence to carry out this procedure. I was a patient under the NHS in a private hospital but was given the same care as if I was a private patient. The whole experience was outstanding!!

Mr Malal made an accurate diagnosis after listening carefully to my problems and assessing the limits on my range of movement. He fully explained the options, the risks involved, and any possible future problems. The consultation was not hurried and I felt relaxed. I had keyhole surgery, which was very successful, giving me virtually full range of movement within a few weeks. The recovery process was aided by physiotherapy and a range of exercises to do at home. There were two follow up sessions with Mr Malal, where he explained details of the operation and showed me how well it went. I was very satisfied with the surgery, the care I received and the outcome.

Mr Malal listened carefully and acted accordingly. At all times the last resort, fortunately, was not intrusive surgery. An excellent experience and result!

I was seen by Doctor Malal for several years for my multiple shoulder subluxations. Recently I was denied entry for a career I’d wanted to do since I can remember and Doctor Malal assisted me in appealing against this decision. Thanks to his excellent work I was able to win the appeal and continue my application process.
